Key Legislative Goals for 2024
- Increase funding for the DSPD waiting list
- Medicaid Provider rate increase (to prevent provider shortage and for inflation)
- Improving safety in long-term care
- Supported Decision-Making as a legal alternative to Guardianship
- Guardianship Bill of Rights amendments
- Pathways to competitive integrated employment
- Access to mental health services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Resources for overnight/transitional respite and crisis services
- Increase awareness about the importance of Early Intervention
